Tormented by deadly thirst,
He was dying on the battlefield,

Through rivers of blood and bodies,
Closing the eyes of the dead,
A maiden was walking towards him,
Her feet barely touching the ground.

Strength came back to the revived body;
Time stood still in the silence of a dream.
Through the gloom and dust I saw a silhouette,
And her voice called out to me:

Wake up, brave warrior, your duty isn't fulfilled!
You'll not fall here from an enemy's blow!
